About the Event
This mindfulness-based workshop is a fun and light-hearted psychoeducational orientation module created to equip community members like yourself to integrate psychological science into their everyday life. This therapeutic orientation module is research-based and facilitated by Andy Solange. Andy is a science-based psychologist motivated by a profound commitment to cultivating community wellness.
This module forms part of an ongoing psychosocial wellness initiative. You will notice a series of free talks and workshops this year tailored for the community to learn about preventative models that promote psychological health. Feel free to like our ​Facebook page to stay updated​.​​
This free orientation module will run for 60 minutes and will include:
· A Science-Based Introduction
· Formal Strategy
· Informal Strategy
· Diaphragmatic Breathing Exercise
· Worksheet to keep and practice
· Debrief and reflection time
