FOR ADULTS, PROFESSIONALS & LEADERS

Understand the person, not simply the diagnosis.

A comprehensive vocational and psychological health assessment designed to clarify complex adult presentations, inform clinical diagnosis, identify functional needs, and build a practical psychological health profile of how a person works, adapts and flourishes.

Adult psychological presentations rarely fit into one box.

Why this assessment exists

Attention difficulties may reflect ADHD, trauma, anxiety, sleep disruption, eating disturbances or substance use. Social and sensory differences may reflect autism, adaptation, personality, trauma or combinations of these. Ultivate’s assessment is designed to examine the whole pattern rather than rely on a single symptom checklist.

01/Clinical clarity

Integrates interview data, psychometrics, history, functioning and differential considerations to support a coherent formulation.

02/Vocational context

Examines how psychological characteristics interact with role demands, environment, leadership, workload, values and professional identity.

03/Strengths & Risks

Identifies both impairment and capacity: where the person struggles, where they perform strongly, and what conditions influence each.

Assessment focus

Designed for complex presentations where symptoms may overlap across neurodevelopmental, trauma-related, personality, behavioural, substance-related and vocational domains.

  • ADHD

  • Autism

  • PTSD

  • Eating disorders

  • Substance use

  • Personality

  • Executive function

What we assess

A broad psychological profile:

  • Neurodevelopmental functioning

  • Executive functioning, attention and cognitive flexibility

  • Trauma and PTSD-related symptoms

  • Depression, anxiety and stress

  • Personality and interpersonal functioning

  • Eating-related difficulties

  • Substance use and dependency

  • Daily functioning and disability

  • Values and motivational alignment

  • Leadership and professional functioning

  • Vocational health and environmental fit

  • Psychological flourishing and developmental potential

Psychometric battery

Selected according to the referral question.

The battery is tailored rather than mechanically administering every available measure. Core and supplementary measures may include:

  • WHODAS

  • DASS

  • Adult ADHD measures

  • Adult autism measures

  • Trauma / PTSD measures

  • Personality measures

  • Eating-disorder measures

  • Substance-use measures

  • Values

  • Leadership

  • Flourishing

  • Broad clinical measures

The exact named instruments administered should be documented in the final report and selected according to clinical appropriateness. Psychometric results inform, but do not independently establish, diagnosis.

The Process: Five stages.
One integrated profile.

Stage 1 / Referral

Clarify the assessment question and what needs to be understood.

Stage 2 / Interview

Comprehensive developmental, clinical, relational and vocational history.

Stage 3 / Testing

Tailored psychometric battery selected to the presentation.

Stage 4 / Formulation

Integrate history, symptoms, functioning, context and differential explanations.

Stage 5 / Blueprint

Deliver the comprehensive personal profile, report and practical next steps.

YOUR COMPREHENSIVE REPORT

Designed to explain what is happening — and what comes next.

Our assessment reports are evidence-based and psychological, using professional profiling methods designed to help adults understand their cognitive, emotional, interpersonal, and vocational functioning with clarity and precision. They are used to guide clinical care, leadership development, enriched professional pathways, and practical strategies that may improve quality of life.

  • Clinical formulation |  Integrated interpretation of developmental, psychological, contextual and functional findings.

  • Differential considerations | Explores plausible overlapping or alternative explanations rather than assuming one disorder explains everything.

  • Diagnostic considerations | Where clinically appropriate and supported by sufficient evidence.

  • Neurodivergence profile | Relevant attention, executive, sensory, social and cognitive characteristics.

  • Vocational profile | Role demands, occupational risks, strengths, values, work style and environmental fit.

  • Psychological Health Blueprint | Clinical, workplace, developmental and environmental recommendations for the next stage.

Each assessment report leads to a clear, practical formulation and a pathway forward.

FOR EMPLOYERS & TEAMS

Useful workplace information without unnecessary disclosure.

Employer-funded assessment does not mean an organisation automatically receives the employee’s complete clinical information.

Where appropriate, Ultivate can separate the confidential clinical assessment from an organisation-facing functional report.

An organisation-facing report may focus on:

  • Functional capacity

  • Workplace adjustments

  • Communication and role design

  • Cognitive workload

  • Leadership support

  • Environmental requirements

  • Psychological-health risks

The scope of information shared should be established in advance and governed by informed consent, professional obligations and applicable privacy requirements.

Comprehensive Report (Blueprint)

$990

The Comprehensive Report is the formal written synthesis of the assessment.

It brings together relevant clinical history, psychometric findings, functional information and vocational-health observations into an individualised psychological profile.

Additional clinical assessment consultation, collateral interviews, multidisciplinary consultation or specialised psychometric assessment may be billed separately where required. Organisational packages can be quoted separately.

HOW ULTIVATE DIFFERS

Not simply “Does this person

have ADHD?”

Typical single-condition assessment

  • Focuses on one diagnostic question

  • Determines whether criteria are met

  • Centres impairment and symptoms

  • May conclude after diagnosis

Ultivate Vocational Health Assessment

  • Examines overlapping explanations

  • Integrates diagnosis, function and environment

  • Includes strengths, values and professional context

  • Looks at treatment, accommodation and development

  • Extends the scale from distress to flourishing

“The point is not to maximise diagnosis. The point is to maximise understanding.”

A useful adult assessment should help answer what is happening, why it may be happening, what requires treatment, what requires accommodation, what requires development, and what conditions allow the person to function at their best.
