Service Description

This clinician-led 10-Week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program offers an evidence-based cognitive and behavioural strategies approach to manage a prolonged season of stress, anxiety, low mood, symptoms of burnout, and emotional dysregulation. Designed for professionals and individuals seeking psychological management of psychological distress, the program integrates Focused Psychological Strategies (FPS) approved under Medicare. Program details: - Required orientation session - Initial one-on-one meeting with the group clinician, with opportunities for feedback and support throughout the course - 8 weekly in-person classes (Minimum 90 minutes) - One all-day class, held on a weekend, usually between weeks 6 and 7 - Daily home practice - Access to guided audio meditations and awareness exercises to support your home practice - Limited to roughly 10 participants to support meaningful discussion and connection Delivered by registered psychologists, each 90-minute module builds progressively to help you: - Understand the link between thoughts, emotions, behaviours and your environments - Regulate the nervous system and manage stress - Reframe disturbed or maladaptive thought patterns - Strengthen mental fitness and self-leadership - Create sustainable habits that enrich daily life Who It’s For? This program supports individuals experiencing: - Anxiety, low mood, or symptoms of professional burnout - Difficulty regulating emotions - Workplace stress and performance challenges - Relationship or attachment-related distress - Patterns of avoidance, procrastination, or fatigue Program Outcomes a) Improved emotional regulation and cognitive flexibility b) Reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety, and depression c) Build enriched daily practices that sustain wellbeing d) Strengthen confidence, clarity, and self-leadership Ultivate Psychological Health delivers neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, science-driven care that integrates the latest research in psychology, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation. Ultivate programs are designed to help professionals like you not just recover but flourish personally, professionally, and interpersonally. With an active Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP, you may be eligible for rebates on up to 10 group sessions at Ultivate per calendar year under the Better Access Initiative.
