Initial Consultation

Service Description

Initial Consultation — 75 minutes | $395 The Ultivate Initial Consultation is a comprehensive first appointment designed to understand the person behind the professional role. Over 75 minutes, the consultation explores your current personal and professional context, the demands you are carrying, what is working well, where strain or fragmentation has emerged, and what you want to develop next. Depending on your goals, the consultation may consider: - professional role and career stage; - current stressors, workload and competing demands; - leadership and interpersonal challenges; - psychological wellbeing and functional capacity; - attention, self-regulation and recovery; - values, motivation and professional direction; - relationships, boundaries and communication; - vocational fit and longer-term development priorities; - whether psychological treatment, professional development, assessment or multidisciplinary support is the most appropriate next step. The purpose is not simply to collect history. It is to establish a clear formulation of your current situation and determine the most useful pathway forward. By the end of the consultation, you should have: - greater clarity about the main issues affecting your functioning and development; - an initial psychological and professional formulation; - identified priorities for change; - recommendations about appropriate next steps; - guidance on whether an Ultivate program, Professional Suite, Executive Suite, ongoing psychology, assessment or external referral is the best fit. Where further assessment is indicated, this consultation becomes the starting point for a more detailed psychological or professional-development process.
